  • The Great Fire of Rome destroyed most of the city in 65, Nero blamed the Christians
  • Commited suicide june 68 to avoid assassination
  • Executed mother and stepbrother
  • The emporer who "fiddled when Rome burnt"
  • Not seemed to be like by scholars, but a lot by the Roman people, especially in the east
